January 10, 2021On November 23, 2020, I received a 0.5 minute call from TETO in Jakarta Indonesia with the news that my entry visa to Taiwan was replied positively. Upon receiving this good news, I was in silence for a while and I thanked God and all the people who made this possible for me. I prayed that God grant them what they need in life.
I continued praying earnestly to Jesus and Mother Mary to help me realize my dream to do my mission in Taiwan. On December 17, two weeks before my departure, the flight was cancelled but it was changed to January 3, 2021. From that moment I prayed harder to the Lord and asked the help of Mother Mary that the plan to travel on January 3, 2021 could push through.
Christmas had passed but joy is all around me. Despite that, the trial was not over yet. On December 30, an announcement came from Taiwan that due to wide spread of Covid-19 pandemic in Taiwan, the government imposed the entry restriction regulation for foreigners. The announcement came late at night … God into your hand, I commend my spirit. I slept in peace. Tomorrow is another day.
The good news came. In my visa, it is written special entry permit. This makes it easier for me to enter Taiwan. Later, I received the phone call from Sr. Rosa who welcomed me to come to Taiwan. I was indeed overjoyed. All my tension and worries were gone.
Thank you Lord for making my dream comes true. With my grateful heart, I thank Sr. Rosa for her support and great help to prepare all necessary documents for arranging my entry visa to Taiwan. I thank Sr Bernadeta Budi Juliati FMM for with her big heart that all travel arrangement made possible and all FMM sisters who pray for me, who continuously support me. With their prayer and help I am able to pass all the stumbling blocks. God bless them all.
Now I am already in Taiwan and my heart leaped with joy.
I know how difficult life is for all us because of this Covid-19 pandemic. My heart goes with those who are the victims of this Covid-19. I pray that with the help of the Lord this Covid-19 will come to an end soon, so that we have our normal life again. I empathize with all the families who lost their loved ones. I pray that the good Lord console them in this time of tragedy. For those who are infected by this Covid-19 and are hospitalized that they may have speedy recovery and be united again with their entire families.
